Effective October 16, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Clearworth (operated by Nick Hames, "Clearworth," "we," "us") handles information through clearworthdata.com (the "Site") and email with us.
Information we collect
- Information you email us: your name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to include.
- Valuation quiz answers: the quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and estimate are kept in your browser's session storage and are not sent to us unless you choose to include them in an email.
- Technical data: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request logs to deliver and protect the Site.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
How we use information
We use the information you send to respond to you, evaluate a potential data licensing or brokerage relationship, and keep business records. We do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and our email (such as hosting and email providers), when required by law, or with your permission. We do not introduce you to data buyers or suppliers without your agreement.
Business data shared under NDA
Company data shared with us for a potential data license is governed by a signed Mutual NDA and written authorization, not this policy. Clearworth maintains de-identified data only in de-identified form, will not attempt to re-identify it, and contractually requires recipients not to re-identify it.
Retention
We keep email correspondence as long as needed for the purposes above and our business records, and delete it on reasonable request unless we must keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Virginia residents and residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws, which we will honor as they apply. You may appeal a decision on your request by replying to our response.
Children
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
