Effective October 16, 2026. These Terms of Use govern your use of clearworthdata.com (the "Site"), operated by Clearworth (Nick Hames) ("Clearworth," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
Informational use
The Site provides general information about Clearworth's data valuation and brokerage services. Nothing on the Site is an offer to buy, sell, or license data, or legal, tax, or financial advice.
Estimates are not quotes
Valuation quiz results are illustrative estimates produced by simple heuristics. They are not appraisals, offers, or guarantees that any data can be licensed or at any price. Actual value depends on rights, quality, buyer demand, and negotiation.
No relationship until signed
No client, agency, or confidential relationship is formed by using the Site or emailing us. Any engagement requires a signed written agreement, starting with a Mutual NDA.
Please don't send sensitive data
Do not email us personal information, data files, or confidential information before a Mutual NDA is in place.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, scrape it in bulk, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
The Site's content and design belong to Clearworth. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clearworth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, and its total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to $100.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
Changes
We may update these Terms and will change the effective date above when we do.
